As a Founder and Director at Invest Blue, Steve Sewell embodies the essence of our journey over the past 25 years. Steve has played an active role in the evolution of Invest Blue from its humble beginnings in 1998 to becoming Australia’s largest integrated financial advice brand.
Throughout these years, Steve has not only seen the growth of our business but also the growth of countless individuals within our organisation. Our vision has remained clear from the early days – to cultivate a community of exceptional professionals dedicated to delivering unparalleled outcomes for our clients. This vision has propelled Invest Blue from a single office to a network of twenty-five offices by 2022.
Beyond business milestones, Steve’s passion lies in nurturing financial literacy among Australians. He believes in fostering a new wave of financial adviser educators who empower clients to realise their goals and dreams and live their best possible life.
Steve is deeply ingrained in his community, championing local organisations that directly impact people’s lives. Raising his four sons in Armidale, he has been an integral part of various community initiatives, from sports groups like the Armidale Blues to being a founding member of the Armidale branch Can Assist. With his sons leaving the nest, Steve and his wife made the sea change to Newcastle in 2021, now empowering one of our largest growth sites, Hamilton, Newcastle.
Some of Steve’s most proud moments include helping shape the incredible culture and people within Invest Blue, celebrating countless work anniversaries, babies & weddings amongst our people and being recognised by Great Place to Work and Great Place to Work for Women for consecutive years.
