In May 2022, Rider won a pageant, Miss Sahara Australia 2022. With accepting the Miss Sahara Crown, she welcomed the role and position to spearhead the mission of Miss Sahara under its Not-for-Profit Organisation called the Lead Beyond Education. The Lead Beyond Education Organisation seeks to break down educational barriers and create pathways where young women and girls from diverse backgrounds can achieve stability and empowerment through leadership and capacity building programs in Australia. This is a cause she greatly resonates with, and as such, she has held the leadership position to advocate for financial literacy and self-leadership for young adults, migrant & marginalised women within Australia.
Riders’ motivation for the financial planning industry is so she can be well informed and equipped to organise & deliver workshops, as well as serve as a keynote speaker for several events empowering & advocating towards closing the financial literacy gap within our Australian community.
