Phillip Ambrose – Relationship Manager

After pursuing a 13-year career as a professional dancer, first at Queensland Ballet Company and then travelling the world on cruise ships, Phil returned to Australia and started his corporate career at Flight Centre as a cruise wholesaler.  He was very proud of his achievements at Flight Centre, attending three global gatherings and finishing number two globally as a wholesale novice.

Seven years later when the industry was decimated by COVID-19, Phil decided to pursue his other dream of becoming a Financial Planner.  He has seen firsthand how valuable the financial planning industry is in Australia and he loves the idea of helping other Australian’s achieve their financial goals.

Phil joined the Invest Blue team as a Relationship Manager in November 2023 and recently graduated from QUT with a Bachelor of Business majoring in Financial Planning with distinction. 

He loves working with clients and prides himself on his great customer service and looks forward to specialising in comprehensive financial advice after completion of his professional year. 

Outside of work, Phil enjoys teaching ballet to the next generation of dancers and passing on his knowledge and looks forward to the next planned trip overseas.

• Diploma Leadership and Management – TAFE QLD
